Dr. Lisa firmly believes in helping people of all ages and stages of life have a healthy smile in an environment that’s relaxing and judgment-free. She completed three years of undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with an early acceptance into the School of Dentistry. In 1991, she received her doctorate of dental surgery and went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at Offutt Air Force Base a year later where she served from 1991-1994. She enjoys membership in the American Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Lisa is also licensed to provide both IV conscious sedation and oral sedation in NC and is also a member of American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She’s also an International Congress of Oral Implantology fellowship candidate in the placement of implants from the Triangle Dental Institute completing 168 hours of continuing education learning about everything related to the science of implantology. Dr. Lisa also enjoys sharing her dental knowledge as an adjunct faculty member for the UNC School of Dentistry.

She’s been married to Dr. Dan for nearly three decades, and the happy couple has four grown children: Chad, Craig, Abby, Anna, and grandbaby June. You might see Dr. Lisa as a regular volunteer for St. Mary’s Dental Clinic downtown, and across the world on mission trips in places such as Peru, Brazil, and Honduras. Dr. Lisa believes in staying healthy and active through tennis, golf, paddle-boarding, and wakeboarding when she’s not at the office caring for her family of patients.
